Floating water

The stagnant water
Sleeps on river bed
Green pleasant trees
Make the veil of it
Leaves of the tree
Pour vitamins
Slanting rays of sun
Follow the golden streams
My gentle eyes
Capture the beauty
The water slightly
Replaces itself
Used to flow
To cover the naked land
Somewhere shallow
But somewhere deep.

But known
With the different names
Tames in London
Brahmaputra in India
Nile in Egypt
.....
Some of its called
Holy river also.
We dive in the water
Go quickly downwards
With holding breath
Only on sacred places
To make TARPAN
As a ritual,
Holy water sucks
All our sins.
